Can I install BootMii as boot2?
Unfortunately, Nintendo already knew about it before it was even released, so they updated boot1 (which loads boot2) on newer Wii’s. This is why BootMii can’t be installed as Boot2 on those Wii’s. One of the features BootMii provides is the ability to create a NAND backup.

IOS loads before the System Menu. At least for now, OP, install BootMii as an IOS if it won’t let you install it as boot2 and get Priiloader. Hopefully soon the SDBoot Exploit will come out and allow everyone to install BootMii as boot2 on patched Wiis.
