Is Shellac supposed to be thick?
Depends on how many coats you apply. I usually do 3-4 coats of color plus the base & top coats, it ends up being pretty thick. Shellac at least, even with 3-4 coats of color, winds up being slightly thinner than 2-3 coats of regular polish (both using the respective base/top coats).
