Google Currents to soon replace Google+. Google is now gearing up to launch the Google Currents social network platform for its G Suite users. The platform will replace Google+, which was shut down back in 2019.

Will Google+ ever come back?
A new version of the Google+ Android app was released on February 21, 2019. Old versions of the app will no longer be supported. Users can still use Google+ on their mobile web browser at plus.google.com. Note however that on April 2, 2019, we are shutting down the consumer (personal) version of Google+.

Just follow these steps to get going:
- Log in to your e-mail account and click the Join Google+ or the Learn More About Google+ link in your invite e-mail.
- Click Sign In.
- Sign in with your Google account by entering your Google username and password.
- Enter your name (this will likely be filled in for you).
